ABOUT
The PCVK is a vertical kilometer run (1,000 meters/3,280 feet) up the west face of Grandeur Peak. The PCVK is a true mountain event, and will test your endurance and skills in a great community of enthusiasts. This event raises funds in support of the pediatric health care and research found at Primary Children's Hospital.

Minimum entry fee (donation) is $50. Donations of $100, $250, $500, etc. are appreciated and will go to good use.
The fee is 100% tax-deductible.
If you would like, we encourage you to raise the funding from friends and colleagues for this worthy goal.

The Location/ RACE INFO:
Morning of race check-in: Eastwood Elementary School parking lot
Check in: 6am
Race Start: 7am
We will start exactly at 7am, so BE ON TIME!
Race start: trailhead, West Face of Grandeur
Race end: the top, Grandeur (1,000 vertical meters/1 km)
After you reach the top, please have an easy jog down to Churchfork trailhead; or via the west face. Please be considerate of other runners and users on the trail.
The top may be icy or snowy- consider poles and spikes.
If you return via the Churchfork side, you can head back to the parking lot by jogging along Pipeline; or we will make sure to arrange a pick-up at the parking lot.
This is an UNOFFICIAL event - there is technically no race, because the forest service will not issue a permit, which means no official race, no insurance, etc. But- we hope to see you there (we'll be there :))
